SmartConnect (.­exe file) This self-extracting file contains the latest ZoomAir wireless client software for Windows 98/­Me/­2000/­XP.­ Please note that the "automatic scanning and connection features" of this SmartConnect software only work with the ZoomAir "B" and "C" chip 11 Mbps cards.­ A "B" or "C" letter will be located on the MAC address label on the ZoomAir card at the bottom right corner of the barcode.­ If there is an "A" letter or no letter displayed,­ then this SmartConnect software will not have these "automatic" features with your card.­ (You may not have "automatic SSID scanning and/­or automatic connection to wireless Access_­Points.­ Manually selecting connections will work fine however.­) After extracting/­opening the file,­ run Setup.­exe from the newly created "ZoomAir SmartConnect Software" folder.­ See the included ReadMe.­txt file for additional installation information.­ Some new features of SmartConnect are: Better Machine Resource Management For Easier Installation SSID Scanning Setup Of Multiple Configuration Profiles Automatic Connection To Different Access Points Requiring No User Intervention
